|SUSPECTS SOUGHT IN ELK PLACE ROBBERY|
|NEW ORLEANS, LA – The NOPD is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying and locating two unknown males wanted in connection with a Simple Robbery that occurred on January 7, 2015, in the 100 block of Elk Place.
At approximately 4:30 p.m., a 57-year-old male was sitting at the bus stop when he was approached by the suspects. One of the suspects grabbed the victim around the neck while the other suspect punched the victim in the face. The suspects then reached into the victim’s pockets and removed his wallet before fleeing down Elk Place toward Tulane Avenue, and then unknown.
Suspect #1 was described as a black male, 14 to 17 years of age, approximately 5’10” tall, and having a thin build. He was wearing a black and blue long sleeve shirt with tan pants.
Suspect #2 was described as a black male, 14 to 17 years of age and having a thin build. He was wearing an unknown colored shirt with tan pants.
