SUSPECTS SOUGHT FOR BURGLARIZING A SAINT CLAUDE AVENUE BAR

NEW ORLEANS, LA. – The NOPD is asking for the public’s assistance in locating and identifying two unknown males wanted in connection with a burglary that occurred at Melvin’s Bar located at 2112 Saint Claude Avenue. The incident occurred on Wednesday, February 4, 2015.

Around 3:45 a.m., the suspects entered the closed business through a rear door. Once inside, the suspects stole four safes containing a combined cash value of over $10,000. The suspects fled on foot eastbound on Saint Claude Avenue.
