Suspect Wanted for Multiple Domestic Incidents on Sail Street
NEW ORLEANS – Officers in the Seventh District are searching for Valere Frazier (DOB: 08-21-86) for multiple domestic violence incidents including a separate domestic battery incident.
The most recent incident happened on February 5, 2018. The victim returned to her residence in the 7800 block of Sail Street and noticed several items missing from the location. She then began to pack her belongings in order to move out after it was determined that Frazier had been attempting to get in contact with her. As the victim was packing, she saw Frazier inside her home on the bottom floor.
The victim then attempted to leave the location after Frazier appeared to have concealed one of his hands in his pocket. Fearing the suspect had a gun, she tried to leave the location. In an effort to stop the victim, Frazier broke the victim’s windshield on her vehicle.
A few hours later, Frazier reportedly returned to the location, pulled out a gun and threatened to hurt the victim’s sister before he fled the area. Officers believed the wanted suspect picked the lock at the front door in order to gain entry.
Frazier is wanted for home invasion, criminal damage, aggravated burglary and aggravated assault. The suspect currently has two protective orders against him from other victims and is also wanted for a separate domestic battery incident.
Officers believe the suspect could be staying in the Little Woods area in the Seventh District.
