SUSPECT SOUGHT IN HOTEL ROBBERY
NEW ORLEANS – The NOPD is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying and locating an unknown male wanted in connection with an Armed Robbery that occurred on May 15, 2015, at 1317 Ursulines Avenue at the Empress Hotel.

At approximately 9:30 p.m., the suspect entered the location, armed with a gun, and jumped the front counter at which time he demanded the 44-year-old female employee to empty the register. The employee complied and the suspect subsequently fled eastbound on Marais Street toward Esplanade Avenue with an undisclosed amount of money.

The suspect was described as a black male, thin build, brown complexion, and approximately 5’8” tall. He was wearing a white long sleeve shirt, black Dickie style pants, and black shoes with white socks. The suspect was also wearing what appeared to be a blue t-shirt wrapped around his head and face.
