NOPD ARRESTS SUSPECT FOR TWO ARMED ROBBERIES

NEW ORLEANS, LA. – NOPD has arrested 33-year-old Tyrone Lowe and booked him with two Armed Robberies.

Lowe lured pizza delivery drivers to abandon apartments. When the driver would arrive and exit his vehicle, Lowe would approach, produce a handgun and rob the driver. The robberies took place January 25, 2015, in the 2300 block of Washington and January 29, 2015, in the 2500 block of Jackson Avenue.

During the course of the investigation, detectives obtained a search warrant for Lowe’s apartment in the 2300 block of Washington Avenue. Detectives searched the apartment and found evidence linking Lowe to the robberies. Detectives arrested Lowe and booked him with two counts of Armed Robbery.
