ARREST WARRANT ISSUED FOR NOVEMBER 2015 BOURBON STREET MURDER
NEW ORLEANS – The NOPD has issued an arrest warrant for 22-year-old Terry Mack who is wanted for the murder of 26-year-old Brandon Robinson. Mack was arrested in Baton Rouge on unrelated charges. When extradited, Mack will be booked with Second Degree Murder. The murder took place November 28, 2015, in the 300 block of Bourbon Street.
Around 1:30 a.m., police were in the immediate area on patrol when they heard gunfire and immediately responded to the 300 block of Bourbon Street. Seconds later, officers observed Robinson lying on the sidewalk suffering from a gunshot wound to the abdomen.
EMS transported Robinson to a local hospital where he later died.
Detectives obtained video surveillance of the incident and observed that the victim was involved in a physical altercation with several suspects in front of a business. During the physical altercation, the suspect produced a handgun and proceeded to fire the weapon several times, fatally shooting the victim.
During the course of the investigation, Homicide Detective Drew Deacon positively identified Mack as the suspect and obtained an arrest warrant for Second Degree Murder.
Mack will be extradited to New Orleans and booked with Second Degree Murder.
